Tourists taking a long tail boat to James Bond Island.After so many years tourists still like to visit the Island. It was very enjoying going for a long tail boat ride to Ko Tapu (James Bond Island) the famous movie location where "The Man with The Golden Gun " as filmed.

1.Phuket -The name Phuket apparently derived from the word bukit in Malay which means " hill "The island appears like a hill from a distance.The region was formerly referred to as " Thalang " derived from old Malay " Telong " which means " Cape . "Phuket has city (thesaban nakhon) status .

2.Climate - Phuket has a tropical climate with dry season with dry season from November to April and a has a rainn from May to October.The temperature in in the range of 30*C to 33*C.

Thailand : Hatyai

The Rajthanee Hotel is built at the back of the locomotive.It is good for backpacker who wants to put up one night in Hatyai then then proceed to Bangkok.

1.Hatyai is a city in southern Thailand near the boundary to Malaysia.The name Hat Yai is a short version of " Ma Hat Yai ," meaning big Ma Hat (Thai) tree,a relative of jackfruits.

2.History of Hatyai -Hatyai original name was Khok Sa-Met Choon.It was due to the investments of Khun Niphatchinnkhon (Jia Gi Si from 1886 to 1972,a Hakka Chinese),the railway contractor for the reilway connection from Nakhon Si Thammarat to Pattani.Hatyai quickly grew into a small town.

3.In 1995 it was upgraded to city status(thesaban nakhon)

4.Climate - Hatyai has a tropical climate which is hot and humid.There are only two seasons in Thailand which is dry and wet.The dry season is from January to April while the wet season is from May to December.Occasionaly here will be flood in Hatyai due to heavy rain.The temperature range from 29.6*C to 31.4*C

Kampong with nearby amenities

You can see the banana trees along the road.This type of scenery is getting less and less as development take place over time.This is the beautiful scenery you can see but only in kampong and it is very relaxing while you drive your car. This is a kampong road which have been upgrated over time.This road is two way and single file. Looking at the photo there is a river on the right hand side which is not visible in this photo.This type of beautiful scenery is geeting less and less due to human developement .

Dog looking for food

This dog looked sad as the road is clean and no left over food for this poor dog.This is the opposite of what I have read in the newspaper which read like " Dog is man best friend "This
statement is true.The are dog who work as guard dog,hunting dog,rescue dog and etc..etc.In this photo show how man treat his best friend.This particular dog must be man' s enemy then.On the other hand dog is is also lovely and obey his master.While I was on holiday in Hatyai,Thailand one dog was barking at me infront of a shop.The shopowner who is Thai spoke in Thai language and told the dog to stop barking and sit down.The dog just did that.This is a Thai dog.Dog understand the language of their master.


One of the two dogs must be tired and decided to take a rest.
